This time of year, for the last couple of years anyway, has seen me attempting to promote my fabulous Christmas song, "Christmas in The Heart". It was featured last year on a AAA (adult album alternative) radio sampler (along side Brian Wilson) and received significant airplay across the old U.S. of A. It has also been played on ABC's World News Now, and called by most in the Biz who have heard it an Evergreen Tune. You can check it out for yourself at itunes. The "B" side is "The Little Drummer Boy" done in little know style called called "surflin". That's short for Surf Zepplin. It's got Single String Melody, Tribal Floor Tom Tommin', Riffin' Rock Riffery, a little weird interlude section and not 1 Hobbit insight.

I played a Gig with Levon Helm (The Band) at a concert for the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in NYC. It was a split bill with Dr. John and man did I have a ball. It was such an honor to play with Levon. I enjoyed every second of it. After the set the first person I met was Peter Tork then Kip Winger Then Spencer Davis...it went on like that. Everyone was so nice, just a great day.

The Hugh Pool Band also had a great day at The Lake George Blues Festival. It was a typical North Country day right on Lake George. I saw some photo's from the show that look cool. I will get 1 up on the site.

Dates are up on the dates page. Excello has been humming with lots of different projects....more later.

All best, HP
