I had a couple of great shows recently. The July 29 River & Blues concert at Battery Park City was beautiful and fun. There are a couple photos on the gallery page. It was great to see some people down there that I had not seen in a while.

Special thanks to Oak Street for representing the way you did.

The August 8th concert w/ Anders Osborn in Schenectady was also a blast. I made a boot board out of a big slab of cedar that I cut out of a log w/ a chain saw that morning. I think I will put that up in the gallery as well.

Anders and band sounded great and were fun to hang with. He is a great player and his stuff has a really nice contemplative feeling.

Thanks to Mona for inviting me to be part of it.

On the studio front, work continues with American Ambulance. We had Will Rigby up for a 4 days to play on 6 songs. He currently plays drums with Steve Earl and the Dukes and was a founder of The db's in the 80's. It was great to have him at Excello and the tracks he played on will really complement the other 6 or 7 seven tracks already laid down.

Anti-Balis is coming back at the end of August to finish what they started at Excello.

Coming up.

Sept. Hugh Pool Band going to Main.

October, Mulebone back at The Saint in Asbury Park NJ.

Hugh Pool Band back on the Rust Belt tour...I love this.

Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Youngstown

confirmed, more to come.

Peace, Best for now, HP
